About 4 months ago, I posted a cautionary-oriented article about cancer risks with intranasal light therapy. Since almost every other person asks about cancer risk with this “irradiation” method. I just have to do further research on this. As the result, I have now put together more comprehensive evidence for this complicated subject of Intranasal Light Therapy effect on cancer on the mediclights.com website.
I should firstly say that with our thousands of devices in the field over the past 4 years, nobody has come back to us to say that he or she thinks that it is causing cancer. It is also fitting to say that none of the users we know of has been afflicted with this disease. That is of course not a perfect validation that this technology helps with cancer. Therefore let’s take a look at the scientific evidence which has been posted on the abovementioned web page.
The first statement that needs to go out is that Intranasal Light Therapy does NOT cause cancer, as supported by scientific evidence. If there is a tumor in the nasal cavity area, it is more likely to help to neutralize it rather than stimulate it.
The next issue to note is that it seems particularly good at systemically helping to prevent the onset of cancer. The process of restoring oxidant-antioxidant homeostasis, the redox signaling, the stimulation of the T cells (for cleaning up potential cancer cells) are biomechanical processes that help to prevent cancer. This is not ignoring the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle through good nutrition and exercise.
Although another modality called “photodynamic therapy” is better suited to directly treat cancer tumors, Intranasal Light Therapy has the credentials to alleviate the pain and chronic fatigue associated with both the metastasized cancer and the conventional cancer therapies (chemotherapy and radiotherapy).
The “carpet bombing” nature of conventional cancer therapies destroys white blood cells, leaving the patient highly vulnerable to new infections. The ability of Intranasal Light Therapy to proliferate white blood cells also means that this could be a low-cost, effective tool to assist in recovery/rehabilitation after the conventional cancer therapies.
Look around us, and it is clear that a large number of deaths of family and friends are caused by cancer. Cancer cells are already present in our bodies, being kept in check by a healthy body. It only takes an imbalanced homeostasis to set loose the cancer cells, which can be triggered by cigarette smoking, absorption of toxic substances, certain viral infection, or any of a long list of cancer-causing events. The carcinogenic effects of many of these can be neutralized with regular use of the Intranasal Light Therapy.
Therefore, use your device regularly!
